Crocheted Critter: Free Pattern! - DIY Craft!
Early Stitch Years
I have been crocheting since high school. One day, my mom taught my sister and I how to start a chain and do a single crochet. From there, I developed a strong passion to learn and create using yarn with this technique where I developed ideas to create sea creatures and one in particular was an octopus!
Crocheted Critter Evolution
There are so many variations throughout the years when I crocheted this little critter and I wish I wrote it down as a crochet pattern. In all honesty, I don’t like counting when I started as a novice crocheter. Though, my one advice for those starting this hobby is to make it a habit to do so! As an effort to help people occupy this stressful time, I sat down for hours stressing to perfect this pattern for those interested to crochet this cute cephalopod.

P.S. If you signed up for my e-newsletter and you haven’t received a ‘Confirm Subscription’ email, it looks like it’s not deploying that email correctly as I tried a test run to be sent to my husband’s email and it didn’t send! It’s not even going to the spam inbox. Womp, womp. So, I set up an email list manually—thanks for your patience!
In case you missed it: e-Newsletter: Crocheted Critter; this has the Zoom meeting information I will host on Saturday, April 18th, at 2PM.
